At Adventure, we believe homework is most effective when it serves as a bridge between the classroom and home. It is not designed to introduce new or complex concepts that require parental teaching. Instead, its purpose is to:
- Reinforce Learning: Consolidate the skills and knowledge your child is already developing in class.
- Build Confidence: Provide an opportunity for students to practice familiar tasks independently.
- Strengthen Connections: Keep you informed about what your child is currently focusing on at school.
We celebrate that learning is a journey that changes as students progress. To reflect this, Syndicates have designed homework opportunities that are unique to their specific age groups. While there may be in homework volume or style between siblings or year groups, each program is intentionally crafted to support the current curriculum goals of that Syndicate.
We recognise that families lead incredibly busy lives. Our goal is to support learning – not to create extra stress or friction at home.
Therefore, based on what works best for your family’s schedule and wellbeing, families are invited to opt in or opt out of regular homework.
New homework tasks are provided every Friday. It’s okay to pause, take a break, or leave the task for another time.
